Responsible for developing, planning and executing all educational content for the Chapter. |

Responsible for executing all Chapter eBlasts. Various committees will provide you content for distribution. HTML knowledge helpful but not necessary. |

Organizes the Annual Golf Outing. Responsibilities of members include obtaining sponsorships, organizing with venue and golf course and promotion of the event. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Willingness to give time, energy, talents and enthusiasm to get the job done. Ability to interact with membership and sponsors. |
Two hours each month from November to April. Five hours each month from April to July. |

| Leadership Development |
This team is responsible for the recruitment, retention, training, development, succession planning and conflict resolution for the volunteer base. A willingness to help our volunteers become the very best they can be is key. |
Monthly meetings of approximately 2 hour each. Follow up task for meeting logistics, attendance at events. |

| Member Concierge |
Responsible for managing the chapter’s member care & retention programs. This committee creates and oversees programs that are designed to assist members in developing the highest return on investment possible for their membership dollars. |
Excellent interpersonal skills. Interest in the retention program. Good team organizational skills, and detail oriented. Monthly committee meetings of an hour each. Participation on one of the membership subcommittees, which could be 3-5 hours per month depending on the subcommittee. Attendance at chapter functions. |

| Member Recruitment |
Responsible for managing the chapter’s membership recruitment program. This committee creates and oversees programs that are designed to meet & or exceed the Chapter's annual goals for new member recruitment. |
Excellent interpersonal skills. Interest in the recruitment program. Good team organizational skills, and detail oriented. Monthly committee meetings of an hour each. Participation on one of the membership subcommittees, which could be 3-5 hours per month depending on the subcommittee. Attendance at chapter functions. |

| Networking Events |
The goal of this committee is to create events which allow MPIGNY members to come together in a fun & exciting environment to develop relationships in our industry. Project execution and follow up. |
Attend committee meetings as deemed necessary (approximately 1 meeting per month). Attend chapter activities and functions whenever possible. |

| Print Media |
The engine behind MPIGNY’s award winning, quarterly magazine, Metrolines. This committee is responsible for insuring that our membership and advertisers receive each issue on a timely basis. Members of this committee become active within the chapter overall by becoming aware of all chapter events and issues. Excellent organizational skills. Exceptional proofreading. |
Monthly committee meetings and proofreading each quarterly issue prior to distribution to the chapter. |

| Recognition |
Responsible for administering the chapter's member recognition efforts and educational scholarships. |
Attend committee meetings deemed necessary (approximately 1 meeting per month - 2 hours in length). Project execution and follow up. Attend chapter activities and functions whenever possible. |

| Social Media |
Produces announcements publicizing MPIGNY chapter programs and events via all social media outlets. This committee acts as the "voice" for the chapter and assists the clusters, leaders and chairs to market and "sell" all chapter programs throughout the year. This committee should understand the importance of ongoing monitoring and response speed in social networks. |
Time commitment varies based on how much you are assisting with a specific program. May be a few hours a week. |

| Strategic Alliances |
This committee administers the chapter's strategic alliance program, including tracking and recognition. Solicits and coordinates the chapter's strategic alliance opportunities with current and potential alliances. Insures that each alliance is matched with opportunities that meet both theirs and the chapter's best interests. Good follow-up/ organization skills with an attention to detail. Prospecting/selling experience recommended. Aggressive, pleasant telephone manner. Ability to work with advertising agencies and marketing departments of hotel properties and with vendors of all kinds. |
Monthly committee meetings of an hour each. Solicitation of four (4) hours a month. |

This team will be responsible for maintaining and updating the Chapter's website. HTML knowledge is helpful but not necessary. |
8-10 hours per month of actual website maintenance in addition to cluster committee meetings ( 1 per month) |
